INDUSTRIAL DESIGN

Industrial design (or ID) is a process of design applied to manufactured products with mass production techniques. It requires intuitive creativity or calculated scientific decision-making, and often both at the same time.

The role of an industrial designer is to create and execute design solutions for problems of form, function, usability, physical ergonomics, marketing, brand development, and sustainability. The end result: enhance sales.
